To provide a safe, scam-free campus ecosystem, Plaza collects:

• Account Identification: Full name, institutional student email, matriculation/registration number, faculty, and academic level.
• Contact Information: Active Nigerian mobile telephone number and email address for account authentication.
• Identity Verification Data: Government-issued National Identification Number (NIN) or Student Identification Card images for verified seller/caretaker badges.
• Listing & Transaction Records: Marketplace item photographs, housing lodge video walkthroughs, in-app negotiation offer records, and electronic deal receipts.

3. SMS & Electronic Communications (Sender ID: PLAZA)

By registering an account on Plaza, you consent to receive transactional notifications and security messages. Plaza utilizes telecom-registered Sender ID "PLAZA" for all automated communications.

• One-Time Passwords (OTP): SMS verification codes dispatched to authenticate mobile phone numbers during sign up and password reset.
• Security Alerts: Notifications regarding new account sign-ins, verification status approvals, or dispute notices.
• Deal Receipts & Event Passes: Electronic confirmations, event pass QR codes, and marketplace transaction receipts sent via SMS and transactional email.

Plaza does NOT send unsolicited marketing spam. Standard carrier network rates may apply for SMS reception.

4. How We Protect Your Data

All user credentials, identity verification documents, and communication logs are encrypted in transit via SSL/TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 vault encryption on Supabase Cloud Infrastructure. We enforce strict Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring your private records are inaccessible to unauthorized parties.

5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers or third parties. Information is only shared with:

• Verified SMS & Email Delivery Gateways: Termii and Resend for transactional SMS and email delivery under strict data protection agreements.
• Law Enforcement & Campus Security: Only when strictly mandated by legal warrant or institutional anti-fraud investigations regarding reported theft or physical violence.

6. User Rights & Data Deletion

In accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), you maintain the right to access, correct, or request the permanent deletion of your profile and data records. To exercise these rights, email compliance@plazapro.shop with your registered student credentials.
